CruiseLink help
Contact: max@youellsystems.co.uk ยท Privacy
CruiseLink keeps your family or group messaging each other on a cruise without buying ship internet. Messages go
phone to phone over Bluetooth and the ship's Wi-Fi, and through other CruiseLink phones nearby, sealed so only your
group can read them.
Getting started
- One person starts a group and sends everyone the invite link. Everyone else taps it and joins.
- When CruiseLink asks for Bluetooth, notifications and running in the background, tap Allow each time. These are
what let messages reach you with no internet and with your phone locked.
- Then just carry your phone as normal. You don't need to keep CruiseLink open.
If messages seem slow
- Messages travel when phones are close enough to reach each other, or through other phones in between. Across a
big ship they can take a while; the chat shows "Waiting" until a message is confirmed.
- Check Bluetooth is on. The Me tab has an "Is it working?" check that says what, if anything, needs fixing.
- If CruiseLink has been closed completely, it will tell you. Open it again and it carries on.
